in Bedford.

W3 Joseph William CARTWRIGHT
Born in 1836 in Lambeth and christened on 10 January 1836 in St Matthew,
Brixton, London. He resided in Francis Street, Newington in 1863 and at 21
Effa Parade, Lambeth, Surrey in 1881.
Joseph William died on 10 January 1913 at the age of 77. He was buried on
10 January 1913 in Lambeth Cemetery Tooting
Occupation: Head Gardener.
On 12 April 1863 when Joseph William was 27, he married Emily Louise
BAGLEY, in St Mary Parish Church, Newington.
Emily Louise was the daughter of Thomas BAGLEY and Harriet COOKE
(1808-). She was born in 1835 in Guildford, Surrey and resided at
Francis Street, Newington in 1863.

66. His occupation is stated as "dependent on odd jobs." They had
a boarder, John Pooley, 63, a widower described as a cabman.
