Born in 1781 in Midhurst, Sussex and christened on 7 February 1781 in Midhurst, Sussex.

On 31 January 1804 when Robert was 23, he married Elizabeth DANIELS, in Midhurst, Sussex. She was born about 1785.

They had one child:
