Cornelius CROWHURST (born about 1780) E1 Cornelius CROWHURST Born in 1780. It is not known where he was born but according to the 1841 Cornwall census it was outside that county. Cornelius died in 1847, at the age of 67. He was buried in 1847 in Thames Ditton, St Nicholas. Occupation: Carpenter and Builder. About 1806 when Cornelius was 26, he married Elizabeth Messenger.
They had the following children:
Cornelius is recorded in Pigot's trade directory as a Builder and Carpenter at 'Tregall', Launceston in 1823. He is recorded in the 1841 Cornwall Census, aged 60, living in Launceston, Cornwall with wife Elizabeth, 60 and son Francis, 15. His other children were not in the county of Cornwall at the time of the census. In 1844 he appears again in Pigot's trade directory as a Builder and Carpenter at St Thomas, Launceston.
