Third Generation Family of Francis CROWHURST (E3) and Mary Frances MILBOROW E4 Francis CROWHURST Born on 26 April 1862 in 4 Grosvenor Cots, Milbrook Rd, Brixton. Recorded residing in 4 Grosvenor Cottages, Milbrook Road, Brixton in 1863; at 23 Effa Parade, Lambeth, Surrey in 1881 and at 229 Railton Road, Lambeth in 1901. Francis died in Brixton, London on 10 June 1911, at the age of 49. He was buried on 17 June 1911 in Lambeth Cemetery Tooting. Cause of death: Influenza. Occupation: Carpenter Journeyman. About 1890 when Francis was 27, he married Emily Alice CARTWRIGHT.
They had the following children: E5 Alice Emily (1892-1981) E6 Francis (Frank) (1893-1975) Francis is listed in the 1881 Census, aged 19, as a Boarder at 23 Effa Parade, Lambeth (next door to the Cartwright family at no. 21). In the 1901 Census he is listed aged 38 living at 229 Railton Road, Lambeth with his wife Emily, 36 and children Alice, 9, Frances 7 and Winifred 1.
