Second Generation

Family of John PLOWMAN (P1) and Elizabeth HEATH

P2 John PLOWMAN

Born in 1707 and christened on 19 November 1707 in Sutton, Surrey.

On 16 October 1734 when John was 27, he married Mary KING, in Limpsfield.

They had the following children:

P4 James (1735 Woodmansterne -)

Mary (1737 Warlingham -)

John (1739 Coulsdon -).

William (18 May 1746 Coulsdon - 6 March 1838 Wimbledon).

P3 William PLOWMAN

Born in 1709 and christened on 18 December 1709 in Woodmansterne.

John Plowman and Elizabeth appear to have had two children called William in 1706 and 1709. It is probable that the first boy died as an infant.

About 1739 when William was 30, he first married Susanna, in Woodmansterne.

They had the following children:

P5 George (1740 Woodmansterne -)

William (1743 Woodmansterne -)

Sarah. (1746 Woodmansterne -)

On 31 January 1790 when Sarah was 44, she married

William MILLS, in Beddington.

On 26 September 1755 when William was 46, he second married Ann PINFORD, in Carshalton.

They had one child:

P6 John (1756-1831)
