Born on 10 August 1735 in Warlingham.

On 18 June 1758 when James was 22, he married Sarah TURNER, at Croydon St John the Baptist.

They had the following children:

Sarah (24 February 1762 Croydon -)

Born in 1740 in Woodmansterne. At the age of 1, George was baptized in Woodmansterne on 23 January 1741.

On 25 August 1765 when George was 25, he married Ann GRIGG, in Banstead.

They had the following children:

Sarah (1766 Banstead - 21 April 1833 Chipstead).

George (3 April 1768 Banstead - 2 August 1837 Croydon).

On 11 September 1803 when Anne was 28, she married

John BROWN, in Croydon.

Born in 1756 and baptized in Woodmansterne on 26 September 1756.

John died in 1831, at the age of 75. He was buried on 10 April 1831 at Chipstead St Margaret.

On 11 December 1779 when John was 23, he married Sarah HEATHER, in Chipstead.

They had the following children:

This documentary is the story of four families. It is the story of my father's parents, Brigden and Chapman, and my mother's parents, Crowhurst and Plowman.
