P7 Daniel PLOWMAN

Born in 1770 and christened on 15 April 1770 in Banstead.

On 15 December 1793 when Daniel was 23, he married Ann FOREMAN, in Banstead.

They had the following children:

On 23 June 1825 when Jane was 19, she married
John GRIBBLE, in Camberwell St Giles
 
Sarah (18 September 1808 Banstead -)
On 26 February 1823 when Sarah was 14, she married Joseph CHITTON, in Croydon St John the Baptist

P8 Richard PLOWMAN

Born in 1779.

Richard died in Croydon in 1816, at the age of 37. He was buried on 29 February 1816 in Croydon St John the Baptist.

Occupation: Basket Maker.

The link to the parents has not been proved but is highly probable. Richard's birth is not recorded on IGI.

About 1804 when Richard was 25, he married Sarah.

Sarah was born about 1771.

Sarah died sometime between 1841 and 1851.

Her occupation shown in the 1841 Census, at the age of 70, was - Washerwoman.

She is listed as living in Scarbrook Hill, Croydon, with Maria Hasten 82. In the census enumerator’s record sheet it is not clear whether she is in the same house or a neighbours of William Brooks and Thomas Grossmith.
